Neuroma

Our Expert Podiatrist Can Help With Your Neuroma Pain

A neuroma is an enlargement of the nerve that provides sensation to the toes. This enlargement can be due to poor foot structure, poorly fitting shoes or trauma to the feet. Common Symptoms of a neuroma are pain between your toes, swelling between your toes, pain in your forefoot, pain when you put weight on the ball of your foot and numbness or tingling in the ball of your foot

Treatment for neuromas typically includes padding, custom orthotics, oral anti-inflammatory medication, cortizone injections, shoes, or alcohol sclerosing therapy, which usually eliminates the need for surgery. If these conservative treatments do not relieve the symptoms, surgical excision may be performed. Please get in touch with Dr. Park for an appointment today
